Sue "Z's" Favorite Stuffing

Sue Zelickson's Favorite White Castle Stuffing

  • 10 White Castle hamburgers (remove pickles)
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground sage or rosemary
  • 3/4 tsp coarse ground black pepper
  • 1 1/4 tsp ground thyme
  • 1 1/2 cups diced celery
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth

In a large mixing bowl, tear the burgers into pieces and add the seasonings and the diced celery. Toss well and add chicken broth. Place mixture in nine cup (2 1/2 quarts) casserole dish and bake covered for about one hour in a 350 degree oven. Uncover for last 20 minutes to get a crusty top...or you can place in cavity of turkey just before roasting. The recipe is enough for a 10 to 12 pound turkey. Allow one hamburger for each pound of turkey which is the equivalent of 3/4 cup of stuffing per pound. Leftovers are great the next day!

Frank’s interest and work in weather began at an early age. At the age of 6 I assisted my father, Meteorologist Bruce Watson, on location in Colorado Springs, Colorado recording cloud development taking a snapshot of the clouds every 15 seconds using a 8mm video camera. Other projects as young youth include the proposed International airport in Ham Lake, MN in the 1970's, the Cooper-Nickel project in Ely, MN. As a teenager I accompanied my father across the state of Minnesota for his research to write and publish the 1975 Minnesota Weather Almanac, which is now known as the Minnesota Weatherguide. At age 16 I worked on a study for the University of Colorado into the effects of the Heat Island in big cities. My duties included the servicing and maintenance of a dozen thermographs located throughout the Twin City metro area. After high school graduation I continued my education at the University of Minnesota before transferring to the University of Wisconsin (Madison) where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Meteorology.

Comet 17P Holmes

Over the last few years, there have been some very compelling crop circles. I have NEVER seen the anything quite like what you will see and read about on the following link.

The recent outburst of Comet 17P Holmes was shown in English crop pictures two years ago: both its stellar location in Perseus on October 25, 2007, and its conjunction with Mirfak on November 21, 2007.

The following link will how the recent outburst of Comet 17P Holmes was illustrated schematically in many different crop pictures from the summer of 2005, over two years ago.

Read carefully and critically… this is compelling!

The White Book with Ken Mansfield

Exclusive photos and personal stories, former US manager of Apple Records and Grammy Award winning producer Ken Mansfield offers a compelling memoir that delves into his life in the 1960s and '70s and his unique partnership with the Beatles and other musicians who orbited their world. As observer, friend, and colleague, Mansfield sat in their recording sessions, partied in their swimming pools, took their irate calls, and publicized their successes. Entertaining, historically accurate, and illuminating a side of the Fab Four known only to a few like Mansfield, The White Book shines fresh light on the true characters behind the cultural phenomena that revolutionized a generation. As the former Head of Apple Records International, Jack Oliver, has said of Ken, "He is one of the few insiders left that bore witness to the highs and lows of those insane days when we ruled the world."

Ken Mansfield can write authoritatively about the music business of the sixties and the Beatles because he was there in the midst of it-making it happen. As a young record label executive at Capitol Records, the Beatles were his clients, and they became his friends. Ken was hand-picked to be the first U.S. Manager of The Beatles' Apple Records and thrust into a world that would change his life forever.
