Late night radio is just not the same without you and Al. I hope the ratings drop like a rock and we get both of you back very soon!

You are greatly missed!

I agree with Gerry. I always looked forward to listening to you and Al. Please keep us posted on what you're up to! Hopefully 'CCO will realize the mistake they have made and bring you two back.

I am so disappointed with the decision made by WCCO management. I have listened to Brad on weekends for the past year and a half and am already missing those great topics! As a therapist I continue to refer to the show archives on his blog--I hope they will not be removed! There is a wealth of information there! I so appreciated the wide variety of interesting program topics and found his shows to be so useful, both professionally and personally.

Brad,
Campaign has begun to inform (and pressure) the 'power' at CBS as to what a mistake they have made in supressing the entertainment and value you and Al give us every night.
We won before on getting you back on weekends. Now, we will succeed in educating 'them' as to the value you have to us and to all "good neighbors"!

Sincerely,
Nelson from Watertown

Brad,

I echo the comments here about the mistake WCCO has made with late night radio and would like to help in the fight to get you guys back on the air. Nelson from Watertown, keep us posted on how we might get this done.

I agree with all. What was CBS thinking, they really blew this one. I have been listening to WCCO for over 40 years and Brad & Al were two of the best things WCCO had going for them. I sure hope CBS wakes up and brings both of you back, I have tried to listen to the new overnight show and just do not like it. While CBS makes up their mind I will no longer be listening to WCCO.

Brad,
I am joining the fight to get you back! I sent my comment to WCCO--hope it gets into the right hands!
Nelson, is there anything else I can do?
It's so good to see all the positive comments and support noted here--Brad, you left an indelible mark on so many WCCO listeners!

Brad, Just wanted to add my thanks to you and Al for being great friends over the years....All night radio, for a sometimes insomniac will not be the same again....I refuse to listen to overnights on the station that prides itself as the "Live and Local" "Good Neighbor"! My best to you....hope to hear you soon!

WCCCO laid a huge egg by letting local radio at night go away, those listeners of AL and BRAD if like my self will most likely drift away from cco. i already am listening to pat reusse in stead of dave lee in the am....wendy paulson and her fellow morons destroyed the legend station. now wcco is no more than a relay station.... george noory is very good i found. not letting AL and BRAD say goodbye is the lowest of lows for wcco management, and shows there respect for the listeners. WOW

I have written to WCCO, got one response from Wendy Paulson. The decision(s) about Brad and AL were CBS only, she said.

I wrote to the new station Mgr and asked for a name at CBS to write to and have been summarily (sp?) ignored.

Back when CBS did this nonsense with Tim Russell and that goofball Wes Minter the station was more than happy with giving out a name at CBS. There is NO contact info at the CBS website, that is useful.

Perhaps, calling the station will help, in addition to writing.

But it sounds like CBS has done this to many of it's "legacy" stations--we are not alone.

Get rid of Susie and Eleanor, instead. THERE is a complete waste of station resources.

I would urge you to listen to Dave Lee and not abandon the WHOLE station because of the overnight guys. It's not Dave's fault that CBS has a burr up their butt.

The downfall started with losing the Twins, which I suspect was a deal between CBS and Baseball (KMOX-ST Louis lost the cards, I heard, too). You take the FREE baseball away from a large signal radio station, baseball gets $$ from people buying radio packages on the internet and from XMradio, etc.

If we band together, we can make the advertisers spooked. Keep track of advertisers during the night, write to them. Let them know how you feel.

Lately, I've tried sleeping thru the night, it doesn't work, clearly I'm here at 3:55am.

Thanks for reading my post.

CBS had a frontal lobatomy years ago.
Remember the Letterman fiasco?

Keep those pipes tuned Brad you'll need then soon.
And thanks for your help last Sat.
Jim
