While attending college, he interned as a page boy at WCCO. Dick is a graduate of the University of Minnesota. He had a thirty-five-year advertising career, twelve years with Campbell Mithun in Chicago. After retirement he put his ad expertise into a book for small business: Advertising That Sells.
