"Science is like a long road paved with observations, ideas, and understandings. From a distance it looks like a smooth strip of ribbon meandering through time. But up close, it can be seen as a rocky road indeed -- a mix of insight and oversight, design and serendipity, precision and error, and implication and revision." J. Marvin Herndon

Understand Earth

Dr. J. Marvin Herndon talks about new scientific theories related to earths beginning, plate techtonics and the future implcations of this new science and new theory about planet earth.

Dr. J. Marvin Herndon is a highly trained scientist who just happens to also be a truly "out-of-the-box" thinker. He was trained as a physicist and holds a Ph.D. in Nuclear Chemistry. He was also the hand-picked beneficiary of knowledge from two aging world-master scientists, who had themselves been trained by world-master scientists. Dr. Herndon is known as the originator of the idea that the Earth might have at its center a five-mile-wide natural nuclear reactor, called the georeactor, which is the energy source for the geomagnetic field. Discover magazine in 2002, featured his work and suddenly the scientific community began to take notice. For thirty years, Dr. Herndon has been on a path of discovery that he often refers to as a "logical progression of understanding." Along that path he has had important insights and has made major discoveries in planetary science and, especially, about the Earth.
