The Sweet Martha's Have Arrived!

Here are some of the early photos of great soldiers receiving and enjoying the Sweet Martha's Cookies! I love the words that were emailed to me by a soldier who served in Vietnam making some observation about care packages.

He said, "Believe me, as a Vietnam veteran, I'll attest to the importance of what we used to call "care packages" from the real world. Anytime one of us would get a box of cookies or other goodies from home, it was passed around and shared and soon devoured.

At a time and in a place where there seems to be insanity going on all around you, something as simple as some cookies from home can give you just enough sanity and enjoyment to make facing the rest of a difficult day a little easier."
