Dr. David Schultz - Hamline University (dschultz@hamline.edu) - Special Interest Spending in Minnesota - Special interests spent an average of $231,000 per legislator to influence Minnesota politics in 2005 according to study released on April 10, by Hamline University Professor David Schultz. He also predicts that in 2006 the spending could well exceed $300,000 per legislator.
